January 22  (Monday)  Right to Life March at the Capitol 

This is the annual pro-life rally and march at the Capitol.  They need Knights, in green shirts, to act as marshalls to guide the marchers.  They also just need a crowd of people.  Speeches will begin at 3:00 at the Queen Lili’uokalani statue behind the capitol.  The march will start around 4:30 to catch the attention of the afternoon rush crowd.  Please join us if you can.

 January 27 (Saturday)  Pearson Foundation Pregnancy Problem Center Luncheon

This annual luncheon is held at Tree Tops Restaurant in Paradise Park at the back of Manoa Valley. 

Lt. Governor Duke Aiona will be the speaker.  $20 a seat.  If you can go, e-mail Joe Shorba shorba33@yahoo.com that you are coming, and mail a check made out to the Holy Name Society to 956-A Lei Rd., Honolulu 96817.

This is a fantastic opportunity to win.  Only 23,000 tickets.   One dollar apiece.  Three cruises on Norwegian Cruise Lines --  A 7 day cruise for four! A ten day cruise for two! And a 7 day cruise for two.  Each Knight gets twenty tickets initially.  No selling at church.  Call your friends at their homes.  Proceeds go to the State Council, but a share will come to our council from State.  Tickets will be given out at our February meeting.

A night to honor priests, deacons, Brothers and Sisters, held this year at Pearl Rooms 1& 2 of the Pearl Country Club.  No-host cocktails 5:30-6:30.  Dinner at 6:30.  Cost $35 a person.  Bring wives.  A really nice, fun event.  Put it on your calendar now.  Sign up to attend later.
